i find that coming on to dA every day has become a ritual of sorts.
my mouse just finds its way to clicking on the link and bam! i'm here.

i start with replying messages and then i browse through everything that's
been uploaded since my last visit. there are days when i'm just overwhelmed
by the many spectacular shots and then there are the few days when it seems all i see
are the same old, same old. still, i take it all in, trying to gauge where i
am in my own amateur work.

the answer? i don't know actually.

i've also come to realize that i've pretty much maxed out everything
i can possibly achieve with my silly point and shoot.
now if i only had the money to invest in a 'real' camera, i'd know
where else i can go with my picture-taking. but alas...

well let's hope i get a bonus at the end of the year. fingers crossed.
